Since March 2010, the program has had a 60 m² computer lab equipped with 31 internet-connected computers and a multifunctional laser printer. This lab is used for classes such as Statistics, Population Ecology, and Community Ecology, where mathematical modeling is essential for student training. For research activities, students use computers allocated in research laboratories, where they carry out work related to their theses. Finally, BURN exclusively uses free/open-source software on its machines, allowing the program to save resources that would otherwise be spent on software licensing fees. Faculty and students have access to the CAPES Journal Portal when connected to the Unimontes network, enabling them to access the literature necessary for the successful development of their teaching and research activities.
